Once the Java SDKs have been installed, ensure that you have an environment variable called JDKHOME set to the base directory of your JDK 9.0.4 installation. Once this has been done, refer to the section corresponding to your specific Operating System for further instructions. The new Oracle Technology Network License Agreement for Oracle Java SE is substantially different from prior Oracle Java licenses. The new license permits certain uses, such as personal use and development use, at no cost - but other uses authorized under prior Oracle Java licenses may no longer be available. If you override IDE JDK version (via the Choose Runtime plug-in), its path is stored in.jdk file located in the config folder (idea.jdk for IntelliJ IDEA, pycharm.jdk for PyCharm, etc). Delete this file or change the path inside the file manually in case IDE no longer starts and you can't change it via the menu.
